Visits to Hamilton and Tauranga

From the Waikato flying clubs carpark at Hamilton on the 8th January, I was very limited in taking decent pictures so spying through the fence was the recently operated RNZAF Beech King air NZ 1885 which has since been replaced and as we speak i believe it is looking for a new owner along with the other ex-RNZAF King Air NZ1884.

With the weather in the early Summer , I  was blessed with good flying sunny weather and encouraged various aircraft owners to venture into the BOP area and take advantage of the lovely friendly regional Airport of Tauranga .

On the 9th Cessna 420 ZK-STV visited from Ardmore and stayed for around for an hour before departing back to Ardmore.

Later on another Ardmore resident  Cessna 177 Cardinal ZK-ALI came in to visit Aero-Pacific Coatings .

The Hamilton based Mitsubishi MU-28 ZK-KOH of the Air Ambulance Service landed to drop off a patient outside to the terminal with awaiting ambulance.

More business arrived for Aero-Pacific coatings on the 10th from Hamilton with Cessna 172     ZK-EHA which had been resprayed here previously ,brought a future customer for a possible respray in Cessna 172 Skyhawk ZK-TJL.

The 13th brought in to C152,s from RNZAF Whenuapai  ZK-FLH and ZK-NPH.

Just taking off back to Whenuapai
